i recently saw the movie called 'the help'. incredibly powerful and moving. a must see for everyone. funny, thoughtful, overwhelming.. a movie that makes you stop and think.

one of my favorite lines from the movie is one i will share with my children and it even gives me a boost when im feeling down.

After 11 Months and 2 days of waiting....

Working 2 jobs and planning a wedding with Matt gone was a crazy idea. Cant do anything about matt being gone but he has been a great help even from Japan. So looks like i need to cut out one of the jobs... Luckily my night job has been great about giving me all the time off I need in preparation for Matts return and the short 4 weeks he will be here.

My bridals went great and here is a little sneak peek of the custom hair piece from Anne Michelle Heirlooms. They make by hand custom veils and bridal hairpieces for you and even your bridesmaids. It was so fun to look through all the different elegant styles and choose one that fits me. =) AM was great to work with and I had no worries at all with my veil and hair piece. Thanks AM!!!

My Bridal Shower

My awesome sisters thru me a cute "traveling" bridal shower! Since Matt and I will get the opportunity to travel, my sistas brought great desserts from all over the world!

April is finishing with the final touches and my mom is trying to get matt to stay still! For all you that know him you know that is impossible!!

April is such a "poser!"

Momma Denny was able to get in contact with some lady's that live and take pictures in Japan! They sent us a calendar and my talent little sister Tara painted this beautiful picture for me!

Waterfall Canyon

Beginning our hike up Waterfall canyon in Ogden. This was the first time i've been on it and absolutely loved it. Thanks to the Heslops for the invite. =)

Carter and Reese did amazing! This is a great hike for little kids. Its like your stepping stairs the entire time.

The water was so refreshingly COLD! I had goosebumps after until we got in the sun.

We Made It!

It was a great way to kick off our 24th but we are pooped! Time for a nap!

Viva Espana!!

This is Ignacio, but we call him Nacho! He came to stay with the Denny family with a foreign exchange program. Nacho is from Madrid, Spain and got to spend 4 weeks in Utah.

Real Salt Lake vs New England Revolution

Such an Amazing game!! Real shut out New England with 5 goals!

We hiked up Adams Canyon in Layton.

Nacho said to me.. "You fail me!" because my short legs couldn't

keep up with Justin and Nacho as they raced to the top.

We took Nacho to the rodeo!

and he turned into a cowboy! He is so proud of his belt

buckle and is now becoming a fan of country music! YeeHaw!!

Nachos last night here. :( We are all sad to send him back to Spain.

Our Story as told to KBull 93

And it came to pass in the city of Layton, in the state of Utah, during the reign of President Bush, that I Lindy first beheld the one who I would marry while attending a missionary homecoming party. Nevertheless, not knowing beforehand the things which would occur, I paid him little attention and dated other boys instead. But lo and behold, we see that Matt and I were destined to be together as we often saw each other at Studio 600 while country dancing to great music that can also be heard on KBull 93 (pause for effect). Although our minds were somewhat caught up in the thoughts of being with each other, we both were dating other people. And it came to pass that Matt spoke and said "If you stop dating your boyfriend, I'll stop dating my girlfriend. Then we can date each other." And so we did. And thus we see that through the great works of music played by KBull93 that all things happen for the good of them that listen. And thus it is. Amen.

Matt proposed from FAR, FAR AWAY. Matt is in Japan serving as a Lance Corporal in the Marine Corps. On Dec. 21st, at a family Christmas party, Santa arrived with a package from Okinawa. Before I could open the gift, a life size cutout poster of my marine was brought into the room with several notes attached to it. Thanks to modern technology, Matt was able to see the whole thing by webcam. Each note was written by Matt and had a poem on it expressing his love for me and his desire for me to be his wife.
